I used to have this magnet when I was a kid - it was out of a generator or something, and it was roundish from where it sat in the motor, and I used to stick it on the pipe outside the back door overnight because it was just the right curve to fit properly, and one morning I got up and it was gone.
I asked everyone where it had gone and even thought my brother might have stolen it, but he said he didn't but maybe he did cos he can be a real arsehole at times, but the funny thing is, I never did find that magnet, and now, about 20 years later, I can't help wondering where the hell it went.
